a presentation of a personal project
The product is personalized nightlight of wood and paper. First the reference picture is separated and traced into layers. Resulting vector art then used to laser- or plottercut dense paper or semi-transluscent plastic sheets.
Next, the LED position and colors are planned. Layers can be lit from backside or front or from between the sheets.
Renders are the final step before production to decide and approve the overall looks.
